Standard Forward Collision-Avoidance Assist (FCA) with Pedestrian, Cyclist and Junction-Turning Detection
This standard safety feature is designed to detect a vehicle or pedestrian and warn the driver of a potential frontal collision. If the driver does not react to avoid impact, the system will apply emergency braking under certain conditions. And to make left turns at intersections safer, the SANTA FE also features Junction-Turning Detection.
Standard adaptive cruise control with stop and go
Take basic cruise control to the next level of convenience. Set your pre-determined speed and distance to the vehicle ahead, and this standard system will automatically adjust the vehicle speed to maintain the set distance. The system will even operate in stop-and-go traffic, bringing the vehicle to a complete stop when necessary and then resuming automatically.
Standard Blind-spot Collision Warning (BCW)
If there is a risk of a collision with another vehicle in your blind spot, the BCW system will automatically assist your steering to avoid incident.
Available Blind-spot Collision Avoidance Assist (BCA)
Available Blind-Spot Collision-Avoidance Assist not only uses radar to detect when a vehicle is in the driver’s blind spot, but will also help avoid a collision by gently applying brake power on the opposite tire to help deter an unsafe lane change.
Available Blind View Monitor (BVM)
The available confidence-inspiring Blind View Monitor streams a live visual of your blind spot directly into the gauge cluster to provide you with added perspective.
Standard Driver Attention Warning (DAW)
Designed to detect the onset of driver fatigue, this standard system will monitor driver input and issue a visual and audible alert if fatigue is sensed, suggesting a driving break.
Available Highway Driving Assist 2 (HDA2)
Available Highway Driving Assist 2, working in conjunction with Lane Following Assist and Adaptive Cruise Control with traffic stop and go, conveniently helps you keep to the speed limit by adjusting your set cruise control speed as the speed limit changes, based on GPS and highway data, and automatically decreases your speed before entering a highway curve section.
Standard Intelligent Speed Limited Assist (ISLA)
This helpful feature will warn you if you are exceeding the speed limit of the road using the information gathered by the front view camera or navigation. You can also adjust the speed limit by using the +/- switch on the steering wheel.
Standard Lane Keep Assist (LKA)
Start drifting outside of your lane without signaling and this standard system is designed to inform you with audible and visual cues. If no action is taken, Lane Keeping Assist can apply corrective steering assistance to help keep the vehicle within the lane markings.
Standard Lane Following Assist (LFA)
Using the frontview camera to detect lane markers on the road, this standard feature assists the driver’s steering to help keep the vehicle centered inside the lane.
Available Parking Collision Avoidance – Rear (PCA-R)
Back into a parking spot with confidence. This available feature will provide an audible warning if the rear of the vehicle gets too close to an object. As the vehicle approaches closer to the object, the warning sound will increase in frequency. If the vehicle is not stopped, the system can apply automatic braking to help avoid hitting the object.
Standard Rear Cross-Traffic Collision Avoidance Assist (RCCA)
When reversing out of areas with low visibility, this available system not only warns the driver if vehicles are approaching from the side – it can also apply the brakes automatically under certain conditions if no action is taken.
Standard Rear Occupant Alert (ROA)
As the engine is turned off, a visual warning in the instrument cluster and audible alert reminds you to check the rear seats before exiting with this standard feature.
Remote Smart Parking Assist
The available Remote Smart Parking Assist system allows you to remotely move the Santa Fe when you are outside of the vehicle — a very convenient feature when you have large items to load in a tight area. Simply use the key fob to move the Santa Fe forward or backwards, into or out of the parking space.
Standard Safe Exit Assist (SEA)
This standard feature helps prevent accidents by temporarily locking the rear doors when it detects a vehicle approaching from behind, so that rear passengers can only exit the vehicle when it is safe to do so. It will continue to monitor the vehicle’s surroundings for up to three minutes after the ignition is turned off.

Available Ultrasonic Rear Occupant Alert
As the engine is turned off, a visual warning in the instrument cluster reminds you to check the rear seats before exiting. An audible alert will also sound once you open the driver’s door as a secondary reminder. Additionally, available overhead ultrasonic sensors monitor the backseat area to further minimize the risk of a child or pet accidently being left inside after the vehicle is parked and locked. If sensors detect movement, the horn will honk, lights will flash and your smartphone will receive an alert through our available Bluelink® connected vehicle system (when subscription is active).
