The most important thing in an EV besides range is always charge time. Thankfully, the KONA EV charges quickly, clocking in at 80% charge over just 45 minutes!

Adaptive Cruise Control with traffic stop and go
The standard Adaptive Cruise Control (ACC) system takes basic cruise control to the next level of convenience. Set your pre-determined speed and distance to the vehicle ahead, and ACC will automatically adjust your speed to maintain the set distance. The system will even operate in stop-and-go traffic, bringing the vehicle to a complete stop when necessary and then resuming automatically.
Standard Blind-Spot Collision Warning
Standard Blind-Spot Collision Warning not only uses radar to detect when a vehicle is in the driver’s blind spot, but will also help avoid a collision by gently applying brake power on the opposite tire to help deter an unsafe lane change.
Standard Driver Attention Warning
When a pattern of fatigue or distraction is identified, this standard feature gets the driver’s attention with an audible alert and a pop-up message suggesting a break from driving.
Forward Collision-Avoidance Assist with Pedestrian, Cyclist, Junction-Turning, and Direct-Oncoming Detection
This standard safety innovation detects rapid closing distances to the vehicle ahead and pedestrians or cyclists in your path. If a potential forward collision is detected, audible and visual warning notifications will alert the driver. If the driver does not react to avoid impact, the system can apply emergency braking under certain conditions.
Standard High Beam Assist
Standard High Beam Assist provides an extra level of confidence. A front camera continuously monitors traffic and lighting conditions to automatically turn high beams on or off.
Highway Driving Assist
Standard Highway Driving Assist, working in conjunction with Lane Following Assist and Adaptive Cruise Control with traffic stop and go, conveniently helps you keep to the speed limit by adjusting your set cruise control speed as the speed limit changes, based on GPS and highway data, and automatically decreases your speed before entering a highway curve section.
Standard Lane Keeping Assist
Drift outside your lane without signalling and this standard system will alert you with audible and visual cues. If no action is taken, Lane Keeping Assist can apply corrective steering assistance to remain within the lane.
Standard Lane Following Assist
Using the frontview camera to detect lane markers on the road, this standard feature assists the driver’s steering to help keep the vehicle centred inside the lane.
Standard Rear Cross-Traffic Collision-Avoidance Assist
When reversing out of areas with low visibility, this standard system warns the driver if a vehicle approaches from either side. It can also apply the brakes automatically under certain conditions if no action is taken.
Standard Rear Occupant Alert
As the engine is turned off, a visual warning in the instrument cluster and audible alert remind you to check the rear seats before exiting with this standard feature.
Standard Safe Exit Warning
When a vehicle approaching from behind in the adjacent lane is detected, this standard feature warns passengers with an audible alert to help prevent them from stepping out onto the road when it is dangerous.
Blind View Monitor
The available, confidence-inspiring Blind View Monitor streams a live visual of your blind spot directly into the gauge cluster to provide you with added perspective.
Surround view monitor
The available surround view monitor provides multiple perspectives of your surroundings when you park. Choose between a front, rear, curbside, full 360-degree or even an aerial view. You can also zoom in or out from the touch-screen display to get the best viewpoint.
